Calling All Volunteers: Sign Up to Help KWH Law Center Host Its 2nd Annual Domestic Violence Summit

Each October, survivors, allies, and activists come together to spread awareness and create conversations about domestic violence, and how communities can come together to support victims. This October, KWH Law Center and the Albuquerque Community Foundation continue their fight against domestic violence by hosting the 2nd Annual Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Summit.
This year, the summit, titled Working Together to Mitigate Cause and Effect, will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at the State Bar of New Mexico at 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
This event is no small feat, so we are looking for volunteers to assist with the following:
- Breakfast set-up and distribution
- Event set-up
- Attendee check-in
- Lunch set-up and distribution
- Event clean-up
If you are an advocate against domestic violence, work in the legal field, or a community member who’s eager to get involved, then this opportunity is for you. Just click the link here and fill out the information form. Please let us know whether or not you are an attorney, non-attorney, or paralegal in the “I am” section, and let us know that you’re interested in volunteering for the summit in the comments.
